A medical is an examination of your health and fitness state. This can be initiated by an employer or may be required for a Driver's Licence (standard or commercial). Some medicals require specific examinations and tests to be conducted so to ensure that we allocate the appropriate amount of time, please clearly state what type of medical/paperwork you will require when booking in for your appointment. This may include an ECG, audiometry, spirometry, urine test, drug test, eye test, etc.

Spirometry is a test that assesses your breathing capability and can help in the diagnosis of different lung diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). 

 

Audiometry is a test to measure hearing acuity for variations in sound intensity, pitch and tonal purity, involving thresholds and differing frequencies.
