Over 75's Health Assessment

If you are over 75 years of age, a comprehensive health assessment can help to identify any health risks as well as provide a basis for preventative care so that you can continue enjoying the best part of life.

These health assessments have a particular focus on the following health aspects of an individual:

  • Your blood pressure, pulse rate and rhythm;

  • Your current medication;

  • Continence functionality;

  • Your immunisation status for influenza, tetanus and pneumococcus;

  • Your physical functionality, including daily activities, exercise and whether or not you have experienced any falls within the past 3 months;

  • Your psychological health, including cognition and mood; and

  • Your social function and connection, including any volunteer work, community engagement, time with family, friends, pets, or even if you are caring for another person.
