Over 75 Health Assessment
If you are over 75 years of age, a comprehensive health assessment can help to identify any health risks as well as provide a basis for preventative care so that you can continue enjoying the best part of life.
These health assessments have a particular focus on the following health aspects of an individual:
-
your blood pressure, pulse rate and rhythm;
-
your current medication;
-
continence functionality;
-
your immunisation status for influenza, tetanus and pneumococcus;
-
your physical functionality, including daily activities, exercise and whether or not you have experienced any falls within the past 3 months;
-
your psychological health, including cognition and mood; and
-
your social function and connection, including any volunteer work, community engagement, time with family, friends, pets, or even if you are caring for another person.
