Dr Bernard van Heerden
Dr Bernie has over 25 years of general practice experience and has been serving the Rockhampton community for the last 15 years. He enjoys all aspects of general practice, especially, preventative health, dermatology and diabetes.

Dr Cecelia Cawley-Woods
Dr Cecelia Cawley-Woods has worked in General Practice for over 25 years.
Dr Woods graduated from the University of Qld and worked at various hospitals and practices before relocating to Rockhampton in 2000.
Dr Woods enjoys all aspects of GP work.As well as being a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Dr Woods has done further training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG).She has also completed a Graduate Certificate of Nutrition and Environmental Medicine.

Dr Manel Perera
Dr Manel joined Alma Street Medical in 2019. Dr Manel is a fully registered General Practitioner, having worked in New Zealand for many years before relocating to Australia in 2016. Dr Manel enjoys working in general practice and has a special interest in women's health, children's health, sexual health and contraception, chronic disease management, mental health and minor procedures. Dr Manel is also available to coach and mentor medical students and GP Registrars.

Dr Matt Kritzinger
Dr Matt has been a general practitioner for the past 45 years, with providing primary healthcare services to the Rockhampton community and surrounds for the past 22 years. Dr Matt holds special qualifications in skin cancer diagnosis and surgery. Dr Matt has also been a GP Registrar Supervisor and has provided hands-on training and coaching to registrars and medical students for more than 20 years.
Dr Matt is no longer the Owner/ Principal/ Director of Alma Street Medical as the practice changed ownership on 1 July 2023.He will, be retiring from General Practice in Rockhampton on 30 June 2024 and may still be available at Alma Street Medical for ONLY Skin Cancer diagnosis and treatment after 30 June 2024.
Dr Matt is available for appointments from Mondays to Thursdays.

Dr K-John Cheung
Dr K-John started at Alma Street Medical in 2021. Dr K-John is a graduate of UQ Medical School and spent a majority of his postgraduate time in a the emergency department prior to general practice. He has a special interest in the use of cortisone injections for musculoskeletal pain (eg. arthritis, tendonitis/bursitis such as shoulder rotator cuff injury, tennis/golf elbows, and trigger fingers, planter fascitis, carpel tunnel syndrome, and muscle spasms), hypertrophic scars/keloids and certain types of headache.
Dr K-John has returned to Alma Street Medical and is available for appointments on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Dr Shu Wing Chan
Dr Wing has been working in New South Wales Hospitals and in Queensland Clinics since 2002. His special interests include is Skin Cancers, Mental Health and Women and Men's Health.
Dr Wing is available appointments at Alma Street Medical on Mondays to Fridays.
Dr Lana Cozier
Dr Lana has been working in healthcare for 10 years at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Wagga wagga Rural Referral hospital, before relocating to Rockhampton in 2020. She holds a Master`s degree in Public Health and has a special interest in communicable diseases, immunisation, environmental health and clinical research.
Dr Lana is available for appointments 5 days per week Monday to Friday.
Dr Alex Hutchinson
Dr Alex is available for appointments Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
