Dr Matt Kritzinger
Alma Street Medical was established in December 2008 with Dr Matt Kritzinger at the helm. For the past 11 years, the practice has provided primary healthcare services to the Rockhampton community and surrounds.
Having been a general practitioner for the past 41 years, Dr Matt holds special qualifications in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, as well as having an interest in Diabetes. Dr Matt is also a GP Training Registrar Supervisor and provides hands-on training and coaching to registrars and medical students.
Dr Matt is available for appointments from Mondays to Thursdays.

Dr Bernard van Heerden
Dr van Heerden has over 25 years of general practice experience and has been serving the Rockhampton community for the last 12 years. He enjoys all aspects of general practice, especially, preventative health, dermatology and diabetes.
Dr van Heerden is available for appointments weekdays.
Dr Cecelia Woods
Dr Cecelia Cawley-Woods has worked in General Practice for over 25 years.
Dr Woods graduated from the University of Qld and worked at various hospitals and practices before relocating to Rockhampton in 2000.
Dr Woods enjoys all aspects of GP work.As well as being a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Dr Woods has done further training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG).She has also completed a Graduate Certificate of Nutrition and Environmental Medicine.
Dr Woods bulk bills pensioners and children under 16.
Dr Woods is available for appointments Monday to Friday.
Dr Manel Perera
Dr Manel joined Alma Street Medical in 2019. Dr Manel is a fully registered General Practitioner, having worked in New Zealand for many years before relocating to Australia in 2016. Dr Manel enjoys working in general practice and has a special interest in women's health, children's health, sexual health and contraception, chronic disease management, mental health and minor procedures. Dr Manel is also available to coach and mentor medical students and GP Registrars.
Dr Manel will bulk bill children and under 18 years, including pensioners over 65 years and health care card holders.
Dr Manel is available for appointments Mondays to Fridays.
Dr Natasha Ratabakau
Dr Natasha joined us in July 2019 as a Registrar for James Cook University, Generalist Medical Training. She was previously at the Rockhampton Base Hospital training in the emergency department where she has gained a Certificate in Emergency Medicine.
She has an interest in all areas of general practice. Dr Natasha bulk bills children under 16 years and aged Pensioners.
Health care card holders and Pensioners will incur a fee of $60;
Aged pensioners 70 years and over will be bulk billed;
Standard appointments otherwise attract a fee of $80 (with $38.20 rebate).
Dr Natasha is available for appointments during weekdays except Tuesdays.
Dr Jae Choi
Dr Jae Choi completed his medical training at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, after performing rotations at Greenslopes Private, the Royal Brisbane and Women's, Mater Brisbane, and Princess Alexandra Hospitals. He then went on to urology and general surgery at Ipswich and Toowoomba Hospitals before relocating to Rockhampton to begin clinical work in the community.
Dr Choi remains an associate lecturer for the University of Queensland, and is interested in teaching medical students. His clinical interests are in procedural medicine, men's health, and chronic disease management.
Dr Choi bulk bills children under 16 and aged pensioners on a case-by-case basis; standard appointments otherwise attract a fee of $80 (with $38.20 rebate).
