Dr Celine Gol - After Hours Telehealth
FRACGP, MB BCh BAO, FASLM, MRGCP, PgDip Allergy, PgDip Weight Management
Dr Celine Gol completed her medical training at the University of Galway, Ireland. She relocated with her family to Queensland in 2015. She has a strong interest in the scientific evidence behind plant-based nutrition and its application for the improvement and maintenance of health. Dr Gol has over 20 years of experience of Australian and overseas hospital & General Practice experience.
Her other qualifications include a postgraduate Diploma in Allergy from the University of Southampton, UK and a postgraduate Diploma in Weight Management from the University of Chester, UK. She achieved Board Certification in Lifestyle Medicine in 2018 and Fellowship of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine in 2020.
Her areas of interest are weight management and allergies
She joins the Alma Street Medical team in a Telehealth Role to provide over the phone medical assistance after hours.
Dr Gol is available Monday to Friday evenings.

Dr Chamathka Thathsarani

Dr. Chamathka Thathsarani joined Alma Street Medical in June 2025, bringing with her a strong background in emergency and rural medicine. She completed her primary medical degree in Sri Lanka, where she worked for five years across rural medicine, emergency departments, and surgical units.
After relocating to Australia, Dr. Thathsarani continued her clinical journey as an Emergency Department Registrar at Launceston General Hospital in Tasmania for 2.5 years. Recently, she transitioned into general practice, where she is passionate about providing holistic and continuous care to patients.
Her areas of special interest include mental health, women’s health, and the management of accidents and trauma. Dr. Thathsarani is committed to delivering compassionate care and supporting her patients through every stage of life.
Outside of work, she enjoys expressing her creativity through drawing, art, and interior design. In addition to English, Dr. Thathsarani speaks Sinhala.

Dr Moe Pwint Phyu

Dr. Moe Pwint Phyu will join Alma Street Medical on 20 July 2025, bringing extensive
experience from both Myanmar and Australia. She completed her medical degree at the
University of Medicine Yangon in Myanmar and holds an MBBS as well as a Sydney Child
Health Program Certificate.
Dr. Phyu has worked in general practice for over five years, including 1.5 years in Australia
and four years in Myanmar. Her background includes rotations as an intern across major
training hospitals in Myanmar, four years as a hospital medical officer in a private hospital,
and three years at Rockhampton Hospital.
She has a special interest in women’s health, child health, and chronic disease
management, and is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Phyu enjoys reading, painting, and spending quality time
with her family. In addition to English, she speaks Burmese, allowing her to connect with a
diverse range of patients.

Dr Bernard van Heerden
MBChB, MFM, FRACGP
Dr Bernie has over 25 years of general practice experience and has been serving the Rockhampton community for the last 15 years. He enjoys all aspects of general practice, especially, preventative health, dermatology and diabetes.

Dr Cecelia Cawley
DRANZCOG, MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Cecelia Cawley has worked in General Practice for over 25 years.
Dr Cawley graduated from the University of Qld and worked at various hospitals and practices before relocating to Rockhampton in 2000.
Dr Cawley enjoys all aspects of GP work. As well as being a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Dr Cawley has done further training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG). She has also completed a Graduate Certificate of Nutrition and Environmental Medicine.

Dr Manel Perera
MBBS, FRACGP, FRNZCGP
Dr. Manel Perera has been a dedicated general practitioner for over 20 years, bringing extensive experience from Australia, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka. She holds both the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP).
Since joining Alma Street Medical in 2019, Dr. Perera has been committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients. She has a strong interest in women’s health, contraception, paediatrics, chronic disease management, and mental health. In addition to her clinical work, she is passionate about medical education and serves as a GP registrar supervisor, mentoring the next generation of doctors.
With her wide experience in both hospital and general practice settings Dr. Perera brings a broad perspective to patient care.

Dr Vivian Pam
MBBS, FRACGP, MSc, DCH, Grad Dip Fam Med
Dr. Vivian Pam is a dedicated general practitioner with over 20 years of experience in providing compassionate and comprehensive care. She completed her medical degree (MBBS) and a Master of Science (MSc) at the University of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. Dr. Pam further enhanced her expertise with a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) at the University of Sydney Children’s Hospital Westmead Clinical School, and completed a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (Grad Dip Fam Med) at Monash University, Monash, Melbourne. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Australia.
Dr. Pam joined the team at Alma Street Medical on January 29th, 2024, and has special interests in endocrinology, naturopathy, metabolic diseases, and children's, adolescent, women's, and mental health. Her holistic approach to patient care ensures that her patients receive well-rounded, individualized care.
Outside of work, Dr. Pam enjoys traveling, outdoor walking, indoor cycling, and embracing peace, tranquility, and mindfulness. She also has an interest in legal studies and naturopathy.
Dr. Pam is multilingual in several languages, including Nigerian Pidgin English and Hausa with an understanding of Igala, Berom, Yoruba which allows her to connect with a diverse range of patients.

Dr Lana Cozier
MPH, MD, BSci(Hon) FRACGP
Dr Lana is a dedicated GP with over 15 years of experience in healthcare. Having worked at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Wagga Wagga Rural Referral Hospital, she relocated to Rockhampton in 2020. Dr Lana holds a Master's degree in Public Health and she has completed Certificates of Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer Medicine with the Skin Cancer College Australasia. With a special interest in Skin Cancer, Women's Health, communicable diseases, and immunisation, Dr Lana is deeply committed to providing quality patient care and promoting community health. She is available for appointments Monday through Friday, offering expert care and advice.
